Eyebrow Tattoo Aftercare

Congratulations on your Eyebrow Tattoo!

Your eyebrow tattoo service is an investment, so it is important to understand the healing is a delicate process and you must follow aftercare very strictly and be patient for best results.

The first 10-14 days of aftercare are crucial for the healing process

For the first 3 days

3x per day gently wipe over with a clean, wet cotton tip to remove any lymph fluid (clear fluid which creates scabbing) and apply a light coating of aftercare cream

Day 1- AM Lunch PM Day 2- AM Lunch PM Day 3- AM Lunch PM

No makeup, cleansers or moisturizers, swimming or spas until healing has finished

When showering use glad wrap over the brows to protect them from steam / products, try and avoid hair washing until peeling has finished

From day 4

No water on brows but keep applying a light layer of cream morning and night. You may experience some scabbing / peeling / dry skin, this is normal and do not pick!!! This will remove the pigment. This can take 4-14 days to finish.

After Peeling has finished

Once there is no scabbing / peeling the tattooing may look very light and translucent, this will change over the next 2-3 weeks and colour will reappear. You can wear makeup now. Sunscreen is advised to help protect the brows from fading. Full healing process can take up to 5/8weeks.

6-8 Weeks

Perfecting Session- We can assess how you've healed and make any necessary changes or adjustments as pigment may be lost / change colour. This session really does just finish off the eyebrows perfectly, and ensures longer lasting results.

The perfection session is included in the original cost of your tattoo and this session must be performed within 4-8 weeks after your first visit, longer than this and an extra cost will occur. We require 48 hours notice for tattoo appointment changes and if cancelled within 48hrs a $100 rebooking fee will apply to your perfection session.

All cosmetic procedures are multi session procedures and it is not until after the perfecting session is completely and healed that the true overall outcome is seen.

Everyone’s healed result can vary and certain skin types hold differently to the pigment and the tattoo can last from 4 months to 2 years. Microblading / Feathering can last a shorter or longer period depending on your skin type (It does not last as long as a block tattoo) This is because we are creating fine, delicate strokes to make it look as natural as possible. Other factors that play a role in longevity are skin colour, pigment, aftercare and mostly how aggressive your immune system is in metabolizing the pigment. Factors such as sun exposure, some skin creams and lotions, exfoliating treatments, medications / illnesses and many similar factors can affect fading of your tattooing. I suggest clients have a refresh treatment every 12months to keep the shape looking its best! (However no guarantees are offered or implied in regards to how long it will last before you need to have your refresh appointment.)
